After years of consideration I have acquired a Bluetooth HeadSet – finally something what doesn’t screen rob me.

Sound quality is decent! There is one but – outdoor, music source has to really close to your headset , there is shit loads of interferences out the in world. Indoors is perfect, I can roam around whole flat without loosing signal.

I have hooked it up to my E61 which does not do stereo and it shit ( good it’s my last month of a contract ) .

I have hooked it up to my Music Player the StormBlue A9+ which I had for a while and until yesterday I was disappointed with it – now I love it, it works with my headset perfectly.

I have also connected it to my computer at home and now I am about to connect it at home. It’s dirt easy – thanks to Audio Devices How To from BlueZ

btw headset is Motorola S9

It appears that my recent purchase ( the HP Media Vault ) was a great idea. It forced me to sort my data properly and security is strait in my network now, all thanks to my new NAS

Today, I was planing on playing more with my new router, unfortunately I have no console cable ( will arrive tomorrow ) and I was not hardcore enough to upgrade IOS on it.

I ended up installing new OS on my Nokia 770 , the 2006 edition. I have not used it for a while and I have not looked in to software repositories for it, for very very long time.

As many portals cover what it comes with ( the new 2006 edition ) they tend to say a lot about Gtalk client … But my most beloved new functionality is Application Installer.

App Installer is just a frontend to regular software management system called APT, and it is originating from Debian… not my favorite SMS but still it does the job. Users of real operating systems like Linux, *BSD are spoiled by management systems. If you do not know what is this and how it works, you have probably lived in a cave with Windows.

Just added most of the repos from Maemo Wiki and now hassle I am able to install most of the available software , with a touch of a button. No looking for applications websites, no looking for dependencies ( 2005 was lacking that part ), just one place to find them all. Love That!

As I have mentioned, I have not checked what software was created for N770, for long time. Today I have discovered missing App. Glurp, the MPD client , which works! If you are some music addict, like me, and you have MPD running on some computer for 24/7 … this app is a real gem. It turns your N770 in to really expensive remote control with all the features of “big computers” clients.

So my favorite apps for N770 are :

Fbreader

Glurp

Password Safe

All other are just useful from time to time… and Application Installer in its new incarnation will be very useful from time to time.

Today I had appointed an interview with Atticmedia ltd. , tommorow will know if they want something more with me. I’ll not comment it till then.

Bought David Gray – White Ladder album, its ,,This years love” rox, the whole album is great, but that song just rox, I love it. For you, who don’t know where I buy my Music go to All of mp3, It is legal with russian law. So this album was for $.6 , yap cheap, and it’s in ogg if you want, lots of formats to choose from.

Did some fixup to My Photo gallery script, I hope that it will make cookies useful now.

I’m getting tired with this fcuking system, it’s respo is so slow, that i’ll consider going back to 2.6.8.1 to check if it’s 2.6.9 issue

had long ‘small talk’ with charles , invited him to Lonix party , which is on wednesday
